The Eleven Essentials of the Canadian Rockies
You will need to bring essentials #1 through #4 in a day pack for safety, survival, and basic comfort. Your guide will look after essential items #5 through #11. If you have your own bear spray, please bring it. Your guide will also have a can (maybe two!) as well. Hiking boots are recommended, but a sturdy pair of cross-training or outdoor runners will work well, too. Extras at the bottom are, well...extras. Make sure to charge the battery for your camera.
